The offered apartments are in Baska, town and port on the south-eastern coast of the island of Krk. Baska is the most well-known tourist centre on the island Krk. Tourism has started in 1904; the first hotel was opened in 1906. The island Krk is connected by an attractive bridge with the mainland and is reachable by car in a few hours from the Central European large cities. Baska lies in a bay, surrounded with olive gardens, wine gardens, figs and brooms. The pictorial valley, the rich cultural heritage and the beautiful 2 km long beach, contribute to the extraordinary attractiveness of this place.

The 2 km long fine pebble beach of Baska is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Adria and is particularly suitable for non-swimmers and children. The beach is surrounded with numerous restaurants, coffee houses and pizzerias. Since the year 1999, a blue European flag is standing on the beach, as an indication of the first-class beach and water quality.  At the beach there is a possibility to lend different kinds of boats (rowing and paddle boats), surfboards, mopeds, bicycles and other requisites. In addition a large scale of sports is offered (tennis, beach volleyball, football, mini golf, sailing, and windsurfing) as well as numerous trip possibilities. Those interested in diving can visit one of the diving clubs which offer appropriate diving courses.

There is a nice beach for dogs (pets / domestic animals) in Baska on the island Krk. The beach is located in Baska Zarok. It is a beach with crystal clear and clean water. The parking area is close to the beach. In Baska Zarok we offer a lot of very nice apartments (dogs allowed) close to the dog beach. The dog beach is marked on our city map of Baska.

The Baska Aquarium is located in the city centre at an area of about 200 m2.
There are in a very nice interior 20 glass tanks with more than 100 fish species of the Adriatic sea (shark, catshark, moray ...).
Additionaly are exibited here about 400 kind of shellfish and snails. The shellfish and snails collection is one of the richest collection in Croatia.
